After kicking off the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series season with a top five in last month’s season opener at Talladega Short Track, defending series champion Josh Putnam will continue his title defense with a doubleheader of HTF Series action this weekend at All-Tech Raceway during the second annual Southbound Throwdown presented by Earth Tek.

Putnam of Florence, Ala., will be part of a stout field of Super Late Models expected to chase a possible $20,000 payday with Friday’s event paying $5,000 to the winner and Saturday’s paying $15,000.
