Clanton, the former World of Outlaws champion and World 100 winner, plans to drive Ryan Crane’s Capital Race Car in this weekend’s Southbound Throwdown presented by Earth Tek LLC . It’ll be the longtime Capital house car driver’s first competitive action since he and business partner Chad Smith purchased Capital Race Cars over the offseason.

Clanton will be part of an impressive field of Super Late Models chasing a possible $20,000 payday this weekend at All-Tech that also includes Brandon Overton, Scott Bloomquist, Chris Ferguson, Dalton Wilson, Joseph Joiner, Clay Harris, and many more.
