With two victories over the past two weekends, Ashton Winger heads into this week’s Southbound Throwdown presented by Earth Tek LLC as a potential favorite to once again visit victory lane at All-Tech Raceway.   Winger could use a strong showing in the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series doubleheader as he looks to rebound in the tour’s points chase after a violent rollover wreck in qualifying led to him missing the feature during the tour’s season opener last month at Talladega Short Track.

The Hampton, Ga., driver will have to overcome a tough field of Super Late Models looking to claim a possible $20,000 payday between Friday’s $5,000-to-win weekend opener and Saturday’s $15,000-to-win main event.
